Colombia Casino, Gaming & Race Jet Charter

Jet Charter Colombia arranges flights from Colombia for casino weekends and race days. Destinations with casinos within reach include Panama City, Aruba and Curacao, and farther away, Las Vegas.

Panama City, Aruba and Curacao

Panama City is about 410 nautical miles from Bogota, which puts it within range of a turboprop or a very light jet. Aruba and Curacao are a little farther, at about 529 and 545 nautical miles from Bogota. Those flights are over water, so we quote a light or super light jet for the islands.

Las Vegas and longer trips

Las Vegas is a much longer flight from Colombia than the islands, so it calls for a larger jet with the range to match. Your advisor will go through the aircraft that suit the distance and the size of your group, and will tell you how far ahead it makes sense to lock in the trip.

Race days

A race meeting has a fixed start, and most of the group will want to leave once the last race is over. Give us the name and location of the track along with the date, and we will work out which airport gets you closest to it. Tell us the return time you have in mind, too, so the operator can plan the crew around it.

Groups and what comes on board

Tell us the full headcount at the start, because it sets the size of aircraft we quote. We arrange specialty in-flight catering as an add-on at an additional fee. Selections are tailored to client preferences and confirmed before departure. Our light jet page shows the aircraft in that category.

Vetting Behind Every Trip

Every operator, aircraft, and crew goes through our internal due diligence before we present any options. Our internal standards meet or exceed what the FAA requires:

  • FAR Part 135 charter operators for traditional private aircraft, or FAR Part 121 for airliner-size and group trips (or the foreign equivalent on international legs)
  • Operator subscription to Wyvern and ARGUS reviewed where the operator participates.
  • Pilot experience and operator incident history reviewed before we recommend an aircraft.
  • Fewer than 60 brokers worldwide hold Premium Wyvern Broker Member status, and Air Charter Advisors is one of them.

Colombia-Specific Patterns We Plan Around

Most international private flights into Colombia arrive at Bogota’s El Dorado International or Medellin’s Jose Maria Cordova International in Rionegro, and Cartagena also takes international flights. Flights between two Colombian cities are flown by Colombian charter operators certified by the Aerocivil, Colombia’s civil aviation authority. Bogota and Medellin sit high in the Andes, so the operator plans the aircraft and the load with the altitude in mind. October and November usually bring the heaviest rain to the Andes, the hurricane season from June through November can affect San Andres and the Caribbean coast, and the weeks from early December to mid-January and Semana Santa book up first. The routing and any fuel stop on a long trip are confirmed with the operator before you book.
